Member Monday – Angela Shope

Angela Shope, of Lancaster is both a potter and painter.  Her work is so fun and creative, you cannot help but smile when you see it.

I love her work because while all her pieces are fun, they are also delicate and detailed.  I first saw her work at the Red Raven Gallery where she still shows.  Next, at the Manheim Township show where I was introduced to her paintings for the first time.  Her paintings and sculptures retain the same character and style.  You can almost imagine her paintings jumping off the canvas onto the kitchen counter, ready to pour your creamer.
