CCCG 2009 Spring Craft Show:

Chester County Craft Guild (CCCG) is happy to announce an expanded Spring Craft Show for May 2 and 3, 2009.  This is our fifth year of holding this special show, with many exciting changes for 2009!

We will once again hold our show in the historic and charming West Pikeland Cultural Center on Art School Rd. Chester Springs, PA.  This year we have expanded our show to include 30 of the our best local artisans.  In addition our show has been timed to occur during the Historic Yellow Springs (HYS) Art Show, so it is a wonderful weekend to visit the Yellow Springs Village.

Hours for the show are Saturday and Sunday (May 2 & 3) from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Gourmet lunch items, catered by the chef from the famed Yellow Springs Inn, will be available.

Admission is $3.00, and is good for both days.  Post cards with discount admission are available at the West Pikeland Cultural Center and the Yellow Springs Library.  To request a discount postcard, please email your address to show@fultondesignfiber.com.

About the Chester County Craft Guild

The Chester County Craft Guild (CCCG) was incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1983.  CCCG is committed to educating and nurturing serious craft artisans and providing a quality marketplace for both the artisan and the public.

CCCG meets on the second Monday of the month, from September through June, at 7:15 pm at the YWCA, 123 N. Church St., West Chester, PA.   We offer guest speakers and workshops for crafters, as well as a yearly outing to an arts-related venue.  The public is welcome to attend our meetings in a visitor status.

We sponsor two craft shows a year and offer a craft booth outside the Brandywine River Museum on weekends from September through December, in which our chapter juried members may participate.   All artisans must meet rigorous standards to participate in our shows.

For more information on joining our Guild, please contact our President, Janice Ritenuti at Ritenutij@verizon.net or call us at (610) 363-9427.
