{PA raft Exhibit 2006} In 1946, the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen's first event was a month-long exhibition titled 'Arts and Crafts of Pennsylvania' at the Art Alliance in Philadelphia. Today, the Guild presents themed and medium-specific exhibitions in various sizes and locations. In 2006, we partnered with Harrisburg Area Community College and the State Museum to present 'PA Craft.'
Beginning in 2009, we've launched an annual spring exhibition to be held at our gallery. 2009's exhibition was 'Thread Count' (May 1 to June 6) Annually, we hold the Holiday Craft Gallery at our Fine Craft Fair in November (details here). And we're very pleased to be partnering with the Reading Public Museum to present 'Raw to Refined' (July 18 - October 31).
No matter what form our exhibitions take, you're sure to discover craft at its finest and walk away having learned something unexpected.
