This inaugural exhibition celebrates the opening of this new location by welcoming juried master craftsmen in the Pennsylvania Guild to exhibit, display and sell their work for the public’s benefit. Established craftsmen have an opportunity to share what they do in a professional environment that showcases their excellence.

All work on display meets the Guild’s strict Standards of Excellence including resolved design, unique voice, and excellence in craftsmanship.

The Guilded Tulip is not to be confused with a museum or traditional retail gallery for profit. Rather it functions more as a community gallery offering a comprehensive look at new and traditional work in a vibrant setting alongside the lively arts scene in downtown Lancaster. Works in The Guilded Tulip are for sale unless otherwise noted. Discussions, demonstrations and meet the craftsmen events are scheduled throughout to better encourage public interest and future collectors of craft.
