Juried Member Showcase
Rent our Gallery for First Friday (with Saturday included)

Showcase Overview:  
 
Rent our high profile gallery space and show-off your work to upwards of 500+ art-lovers during one of Lancaster’s popular First Fridays.  This opportunity is open to chapter groups or Guild juried members in 2011.  Rent the space for yourself or with 2 fellow juried members for one fee.  Or have your chapter rent it. Turn it into your own gallery showcasing your fine craftsmanship for First Friday and the ensuing Saturday.  It’s yours for two days for only $295.  Act today and get your choice month reserved now!
 
Showcase Details:  
  • The $295 rental is for up to 3 juried members. 
    • $350 for up to 4 and
    • $395 for 5 or more
  • Application Deadline:  Your proposal is due no later than three months prior to the start of the month you’re interested in applying for.  For example, if you wish to exhibit for the First Friday in January, you must apply by October 1.
  • Displays & Set up: Participating members are responsible for their own setup.  We will leave an assortment of pedestals and display units for use. 
Terms & Conditions:
  • All participants must be members in good standing of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. Juried members may rent the space as individuals. Non-juried members must rent as a chapter.
  • The rental fee is due 60 days prior to the scheduled exhibition.
  • The security deposit of $100 is due with this contract. Security deposits are refunded within 2 weeks of your showcase after a review for facility damage. Security deposits are NOT refunded if you cancel the showcase.
  • All participants are required to submit 2 to 3 high resolution digital images for publicity purposes. Please note if we have your images on file.
  • The entire front gallery space including windows will be made available for setup beginning at 8 am on the Friday opening until 8 pm on the Saturday closing.
  • No staffing included. Members must be setup and ready to sell at 3 pm on the Friday.
  • Required hours are: Friday 3 pm to 8:30 pm, and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.
  • No customers are permitted in the back offices.
  • The showcase will be promoted through the printed First Friday newsletter, the Guild’s website as well as blog.  Press releases will be generated by the Guild and should be distributed by participating members.
  • By signing this contract I acknowledge that I am responsible for the showcase on the dates requested. I am also responsible to protect, maintain, and properly secure the Guild offices while renting the facility. If damage or theft occurs, I understand I will be fined exact costs of repairs, or lost or stolen Guild property.
