Explore the endless possibilities that enameling jewelry can bring to light! Enameling is the process of fusing glass to metal and creates texture and color that can transform your jewelry. We have a myriad of enamels available to our students in every color imaginable so your vision can come to life.

Jessica will cover the proper way to clean and prepare metals. We will use different kinds of enamels such as powder, liquid, and watercolor. Techniques covered will be sifting, wetpacking, stencil, sgraffito, painting with liquids.

Students will come out with a variety of samples, pendants, and earrings.

Materials: A materials kit costing $40 is included in your tuition.

Supplies: Please bring a mask, gloves, index cards, xacto knife, and sketchbook. If you have stencils or items you’d like to enamel, feel free to bring those as well.

Jessica is an award-winning artist who is also a Master Artisan of the Guild. She received her BFA and art education degree from Millersville University. She has taken classes in Corning, NY and Peter’s Valley. She currently teaches glass and enameling at different schools. She is also a self-employed artist.
