Paper Collage Landscapes – April 9, 2017
Sunday, 10 am – 3 pm
Instructor: Diane Maurer
335 N Queen Street, Lancaster, PA
All skill levels
Discover how to use paper decorating, paper cutting and paper layering techniques to create beautiful landscape (and seascape) paper collages. I’ll bring lots of examples of finished work to inspire you. There will be time for some hands-on paper decorating so you’ll learn techniques, but I will also bring some of my decorative papers for you to use in your collage.
Supplies: If possible, bring sharp scissors, ruler, small flat glue brush and acid-free glue, or archival tape such as Tombow; three 8X10” sheets of heavy watercolor paper, an 8X10” or larger watercolor block, an 8X10” white mat with 5X7” opening and a piece of mat board or foam core to use as a backing. Also bring any of your own decorative papers, especially thick and thin textured and lace papers in white and colors.
A materials fee of $10 is included in the tuition.
