- Eucalyptus Dyed Scarves
February 29, 2020
9:00 am - 2:30 pm
Instructor: Carol Reed
Skill Level: Beginner
Join us to naturally dye a one of a kind scarf. We’ll use fresh eucalyptus leaves to create a unique pattern on a wool gauze scarf. Through the magic of eco-dyeing, the leaves impart their color to the cloth. In the morning session, you’ll put your scarf together, place them in the dye bath and we’ll talk about the process. While the scarves are dying you’ll have free time from 11 to 2:00 to have lunch, visit the Guild store or whatever you choose. At 2:00 p.m. we’ll remove the scarves from the bath and have the” big reveal”.
*** Please note *** The materials fee is not included in the tuition. A materials fee of $20 or $30 (depending on the scarf chosen) will be due to the instructor at the time of the class.
Materials fee: $30.00 for a wool gauze scarf, $20 for a silk scarf
