Fine Craft as a Business – Online Selling: Instagram 101

This workshop will be led by Master Artisan Kim Schalk (https://www.kimschalk.com/about) and Fine Craft as a Business Committee member Ilene Schenkel (https://www.etsy.com/shop/BeadsbyIleneShop?ref=search_shop_redirect).
Our presenters will discuss the basics of setting up Instagram (IG), explain the screens, and the basic capabilities and advantages of using IG. Building on that foundation they will outline strategies in building your business using IG and how to integrate with other online platforms such as Facebook, websites, and Etsy to improve online sales opportunities. Kim will also share her experiences in marketing her line of original designs of fine clothing via online venues.
Non-member cost is $10

Fine Craft as a Business Mentors / Mentees may register at no cost by contacting FCB committee chair Dan Hayward at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Persons who enroll in the workshop will receive a Zoom link from Dan Hayward a few days prior to the event.
The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild. In order to request a withdrawal from a workshop, students must contact the Guild by phone at 717-431-8706 or email email@example.com at least 7 days before the class. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a 100% tuition class credit.
