Instructor: Amy Burk
Skill Level: Beginner
The holidays are right around the corner and nothing sets a table like handmade napkins.  Your napkins will have mitered corners and a one-inch hem.  Some of the best napkins are made with hand-dyed fabrics that hide stains and the pattern goes through to both sides of the fabric.  For two hours, we will iron, pin, and sew with six napkins finished or near completion.
Supplies needed:
2 1/2 yards of fabric, washed, pressed, cut into 6  panels, 20 inches by 20 inches.
Thread to match
Bobbin
Sewing machine
Pins
Iron
Scissors
Please bring anything that you like to sew with.  The Country Store in Intercourse has a huge selection of hand dyed fabrics. Any print is welcome, you don’t have to use hand dyed.
