Combine techniques of texturing, prong setting, Keum boo and oxidation in this new workshop. Keum boo is the application of 24kt gold to fine or reticulated silver through heat and pressure. Students design their own piece, with all techniques being demonstrated.
The instructor will provide several stone types on the day of class, including kyanite, stick pearls and topaz. Add Keum boo to compliment your design.
Sterling silver chain provided to complete your necklace. Some previous soldering skill is helpful but not necessary.
All tools, materials, and equipment provided.
Please note *** There is a materials fee of $60 that is due to the instructor at the time of the class.
The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a 100% tuition class credit.
