- Seagrass Gourd Bowls
August 3, 2019
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Instructor: Suzi Nonn
Skill Level: Beginner
This workshop introduces the flexibility and creative uses of seagrass as a gourd rim. First, you will explore the endless possibilities of coloring with alcohol ink. Next, learn how to create a simple rim of seagrass and then how to expand the rim to add dimension and pizzazz. During class, the instructor will talk about how to embellish the rim with beads or natural materials. The instructor will provide your gourd ( 9-10 inch bowl cleaned, painted inside, and drilled) along with seagrass and you are ready to get started.
Recommended that you bring an apron or wear clothes that little ink spots won’t be a problem.
All materials are included in the tuition.
