About the Hattie Weselyk Studio:
Welcome to Hattie Weselyk Studio, set in Hattie’s 18th-century farmhouse home studio in historic Unionville, Pennsylvania.
Classes in metal jewelry making, clay, and more are conducted in two studios that are attached to the main house. We want students to feel completely at home and create a warm and welcoming environment. The individualized teaching approach allows students of all levels to achieve their own personal successes.
Hattie was bitten by the art bug at a young age and after being a ballerina into her early twenties, she hung up her pointe shoes to start a family. While searching for a creative outlet in a craft store one day, Hattie tried her hand at jewelry making and was hooked. She read just about every book she could on the subject and worked to perfect her craft.
In addition to creating beautiful jewelry, Hattie discovered a love for teaching. It was this passion that lead to the opening of the studio, as well as various invitations to teach at local art schools.
