Instructor: Barry Miller

Skill Level: Beginner

Join us as we carve some pumpkins with some character!  We will be carving a pumpkin out of some basswood that will bring a smile to the fall season. This project can be modified to any skill level so all are welcome to join in. All materials will be provided to carve this fun pumpkin including knives and gloves. You are welcome to bring your own woodcarving tools if you have them, but it’s not required. I’ll have tools available for purchase if you’d like to continue carving after you leave this fun class.

All materials will be provided. Kits will be available for students to purchase if they have an interest in carving at home.

About the Instructor:

I live in Denver with my wife of 30 years, Diana, and we have three adult children; Emily, Andrew, and Allyson. We also have two grandchildren; Olivia and Jeremiah. I work locally for an Alarm Service provider as a Fire Alarm Designer and Systems Engineer. We enjoy camping when we have the time as well as hiking. I grew up in Lancaster County PA and graduated from Cocalico High School and then served in the United States Army for three years and the Oregon Army National Guard while in College.
